Description of your design style?

I guess it’s not so much a style but a feeling. I endeavour to create an interior that is warm and comfortable, cozy and inviting. I like working with rustic and natural products.

Top tips when creating a design scheme.

Choose colours, materials and furniture that bring joy and you will love to live with. If you love a piece of furniture for example it will become a timeless piece in your home and stand the test of time.

Favourite recent project

The Village centre at Cambridge Oaks Lifestyle Village was my favourite project to work on recently. ‘The Lodge’ has a high end look but a warm inviting, sit down in front of the fire and have a coffee vibe.

Cambridge Oaks is developed by Freedom Villages and built by Venture Developments

Favourite design item you are coveting

Design item I love at the moment are is ‘Boucle’ a fabric that was used in clothing but now available as upholstery fabric. It looks fab on a sofa or in Cushions as in cushion in image below: Lazo Wool Boucle Cushion - Citta design

What are your top flooring picks at the moment?

Loop pile wool carpets are a huge thing at the moment. The natural fibres add texture and an authentic feel to them which work well with today’s colour palettes.
